How to Set Up IPTV on a Smart TV

Most smart TVs can run IPTV with a player app. This guide covers the general process for any brand.

What you need

  • Smart TV from 2018 or newer
  • Access to the TV app store
  • Your M3U link or login details

    Open your TV app store

    Press Home on your remote and open the app store for your TV brand.

    Install IBO Player

    Search for "IBO Player" (or SS IPTV) and install it.

    Note your MAC address

    Open the app. A MAC address and device key will be displayed — write them down.

    Add your playlist

    Visit the player's website on your phone or computer, enter the MAC and key, and paste your M3U URL. Or send them to our support team and we'll do it for you.

    Restart the app

    Close and reopen the app on your TV. Your channels will appear.

Tip: Older smart TVs can be slow — a Firestick or Android TV box is often a faster alternative.
